A Lifelong Love for Dogs
Hello, I’m Auli Lovoi. I was raised in Arizona, where my love for dogs began early. Between homeschooling lessons, I spent hours teaching my dogs fun tricks — even getting them to jump through hoops. After graduating from high school, I worked at a dog boarding facility, where my passion for working with dogs truly started to grow.
Before discovering positive reinforcement, training felt overwhelming. Like many, I once relied on easily available tools such as prong and shock collars, only to realize they didn’t build trust or long-term success.
That all changed after embracing positive reinforcement training. The results were immediate and undeniable — happier dogs, better communication, and lasting progress.
Teaching Families, Not Just Dogs
When you work with me, you’ll often hear:
“I’m teaching you how to train your dog.”
I’m only with your dog for a limited time — you are with them for a lifetime. That’s why my role is not only to guide your dog but to equip you with the same tools, techniques, and confidence to carry training forward
Training Philosophy
For the past five years, I’ve committed to positive reinforcement in everything I do. Dogs, like people, thrive when encouraged and set up for success. Instead of waiting to punish mistakes, I focus on guiding, reinforcing, and building confidence.
This approach has transformed not only dogs, but also my own outlook as a parent, partner, and friend.
Dogs once afraid of their kennel now seek it out as a safe space.
Walks that were once filled with pulling are now calm, cooperative, and enjoyable.
Commands have become cues, creating trust-based communication instead of conflict.
My Mission
Dog training is about more than obedience. It’s about creating understanding, building relationships, and helping families grow stronger together.
My goal is simple: to help you communicate better with your dog — and maybe become a better person along the way.
Auli was highly recommended to me by a dedicated animal lover and professional in the field during an emergency family situation that involved unexpectedly inheriting a dog. To say I was panicked about our canine addition to our family, who came with a traumatic past and some challenging behaviors, is probably putting it lightly, when I first reached out to Auli. To my disbelief, she offered to arrive at our home, for our very first training session, the very next day.
Auli has far exceeded all expectations!!! She’s extremely conscientious and absolutely dedicated to the dogs and families she works with, even to the point of making herself available between sessions via texts to troubleshoot unexpected challenges. In addition to our face-to-face home training sessions, she supplied us with a wealth of information, including educational handouts and internet links. Even though life happens, there’s no way you can forget the material covered in a session because Auli also supplies a weekly checklist of homework activities that enable progress to be made within your family, between sessions. Auli’s approach is non-judgmental with her human clients, as well as 150% positive and non-intimidating for canine clients. All in all, Auli is highly knowledgeable, extremely compassionate, understanding, accommodating, and a real expert in the field!!
